All information below pertains to the 2024 Summit. 2025 details coming soon!
DSI’s C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit will bring together DoD, Military, Federal Government, International Partners & Industry leaders in a ‘Town-Hall’ style forum focused on current/future initiatives toward developing an effective C-UAS strategy that will deter, defend against & defeat UAS threats, both at home & abroad. This forum will provide insights on the military’s strategy to counter the growing use of unmanned aerial systems by adversaries, focusing on a proactive approach and investment in commercial C-UAS & C-sUAS technologies.
The DoD is calling for more of a layered detection approach to C-UAS and want combine detection capabilities such as using EO/IR acoustic sensors to detect visual, sound, & heat signatures, radar systems, & using radio frequency sensors to identify wireless signals. Vendors agree and the DoD is looking for their help on a multitude of C-UAS capabilities. As a result, in the FY2024 budget, the Department of Defense (DOD) saw an increase across the Services on C-UAS spending with more than 177 million provided toward Counter Uncrewed Aerial Systems (CUAS), Group 3 Defeat Acceleration, 5G-enabled drones, and high energy laser atmospheric study and prototype systems. The C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit will highlight the importance of leveraging commercial innovation to enhance these systems & provide insights on the military’s strategy to counter the growing use of unmanned aerial systems by adversaries, focusing on a proactive approach and investment in commercial C-UAS & C-sUAS technologies.

The ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Israel have highlighted the need to counter increasing unmanned and autonomous threats at scale. The increased availability and proliferation of UAS have provided U.S. adversaries with a low-cost means of conducting intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions against—or attacking—U.S. forces. Attendees will hear perspectives from key leaders across military & government on evaluating the performance, effectiveness, & reliability of C-UAS systems to support the Warfighter mission. This event will also feature a panel on conducting Joint C-UAS exercises with International Partners for a unified strategic approach & improved capabilities.
DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Symposium’s content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in the counter unmanned systems space from leaders across Military, Government, Commercial, and Academia. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
DSI’s Summit directly supports DoD & Federal Government priorities by providing a conduit for officials to efficiently reach audiences outside of their respective offices that directly impact their department’s mission success, at no charge to the government, and in an efficient expenditure of time.
DSI’s Summit will provide a forum to address and improve internal and external initiatives, meet with and hear from partner organizations, disseminate vital capability requirements to industry, increase visibility within the larger community, and generally support their mission.
The Summit is open and complimentary to all DoD and Federal employees and is considered an educational and training forum.
(Industry and academia members are charged a fee for admission)
Summit is CLOSED TO PRESS / NO RECORDINGS
