Defense Strategies Institute’s 2nd Annual C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit will bring together members of the Department of Defense, federal government, industry, and academia to explore strategies, technologies, and policies to counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS). As the threat from UAS continues to grow, this Summit will advance efforts to better detect, deter, and neutralize these threats both at home and around the world.
Agenda Current as of 6/10/25
In recent years, the threat landscape around drones and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) has evolved rapidly, as adversaries are increasingly leveraging these systems for malign intent. In response, the Department of Defense and federal government are implementing strategies, policies, and new capabilities to counter these systems and mitigate the risks they pose to U.S. assets, including key civilian and military infrastructures.

Because UAS are relatively affordable, easy to acquire and operate, and effective in generating asymmetrical threats, their proliferation is transforming the security environment and nature of warfare. This year’s C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit will explore unclassified efforts around the DoD’s new classified Strategy for Countering Unmanned Systems, including ways to deepen our understanding and awareness of unmanned threats, disrupt and degrade adversarial UAS networks, increase defenses against unmanned systems, deliver solutions at speed and scale, and design the future joint force for a way of warfare driven by unmanned systems. Highlighting the warfighter priority of countering threats posed by unmanned aerial systems, the DoD is requesting $1.3 billion for C-UAS projects this fiscal year. In this context, speakers will highlight the need to continue collaborative innovation efforts across the public and private sectors to generate effective, efficient C-UAS solutions. Join us at the 2025 Summit to hear from leaders across the community on how the DoD and federal government are overcoming challenges and evolving their approach to neutralize UAS and the grave threats they pose to U.S. installations, civilians, and Warfighters.
DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Symposium’s content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in the counter unmanned systems space from leaders across military, government, commercial, and academia. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
DSI’s Summit directly supports DoD and Federal Government priorities by providing a conduit for officials to efficiently reach audiences outside of their respective offices that directly impact their department’s mission success, at no charge to the government, and in an efficient expenditure of time.
DSI’s Summit will provide a forum to address and improve internal and external initiatives, meet with and hear from partner organizations, disseminate vital capability requirements to industry, increase visibility within the larger community, and generally support their mission.
The Summit is open and complimentary to all DoD and Federal employees and is considered an educational and training forum.
(Industry and academia members are charged a fee for admission)
Summit is CLOSED TO PRESS / NO RECORDINGS
