C-UAS & INTEGRATED PROTECTION SUMMIT

  • September 1-2, 2026
  • Huntsville, AL

EVENT OVERVIEW

Defense Strategies Institute’s 3rd Annual C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit will convene senior leaders and decision-makers from the Department of War, federal government, industry, and academia to address the evolving challenges of countering unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS). As UAS threats continue to expand in scale, sophistication, and global reach, the Summit will focus on advancing integrated strategies to detect, deter, and defeat these systems while strengthening layered defense architectures across the homeland and operational theaters.

  • Accelerating Innovation in Counter UAS for Multi-Layered Battlespace Protection

For FY2027, over $70 billion is being requested by the Department of War (DoW) for drone and counter-drone technology, underscoring the scale and urgency of the rapidly evolving unmanned threat landscape. In recent years, adversaries have increasingly leveraged drones and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) for malign intent across both domestic and operational environments. In response, the DoW and federal government are advancing strategies, policies, and capabilities to counter these systems, with a strong emphasis on interagency coordination and cross-service integration to protect U.S. assets, including critical civilian and military infrastructure.

UAS are relatively affordable, easy to acquire and operate, and highly effective in creating asymmetric threats which has led to their continued proliferation and the transformation of the nature of warfare. This year’s C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit will explore efforts aligned with the DoW’s evolving strategy for countering unmanned systems, with a focus on operational execution and real-world application of layered, integrated defenses. Sessions will highlight joint and interagency collaboration, including efforts such as FBI and JIATF-401 coordination for domestic protection, tactical-edge C-UAS operations, and integration across the Joint Force and allied partners to counter a global threat.

Senior leaders and C-UAS experts will examine how to deepen threat awareness, disrupt and defeat adversarial UAS networks, and accelerate the development and fielding of C-UAS solutions at speed and scale. Discussions will address balancing kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities, advancing joint training and readiness, and strengthening interoperability across services, agencies, and international partners. Join us at the 2026 C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit to hear from leaders across government, military, industry, and academia on how the DoW and its partners are overcoming challenges and evolving a unified approach to counter UAS threats and protect the homeland and Joint Force.

DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Symposium’s content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in the counter unmanned systems space from leaders across military, government, commercial, and academia. Our non-partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.

  • Gain Education & Insight: Walk away with knowledge gained from our senior level speakers on some of the complex challenges facing the UAS community.
  • Build Partnerships: The agenda is designed to allow for ample networking opportunities and the ability to engage in constructive dialogue among all in attendance.
  • Influence: Help foster ideas! Share your own insight and knowledge during our interactive sessions. All attendees are encouraged to address our speaker faculty and each other with their questions, comments or ideas

DSI’s Summit directly supports DoW and Federal Government priorities by providing a conduit for officials to efficiently reach audiences outside of their respective offices that directly impact their department’s mission success, at no charge to the government, and in an efficient expenditure of time.

DSI’s Summit will provide a forum to address and improve internal and external initiatives, meet with and hear from partner organizations, disseminate vital capability requirements to industry, increase visibility within the larger community, and generally support their mission.

The Summit is open and complimentary to all DoW and Federal employees and is considered an educational and training forum.

(Industry and academia members are charged a fee for admission)

Summit is CLOSED TO PRESS / NO RECORDINGS
